Description: Erect herb. Leaves opposite, broadly lanceolate, acute, lower often much larger, sometimes petioled. Flowers green, yellow and tinged with purple.
Uses: Plant is bitter, tonic, stomachic, febrifuge, antipyretic, sudorific, antiperiodic and anthelmitic. It is useful in skin disease, dipsia and gastropathy.
